Advanced Practice Psychiatric Nurse – Full or Part time positions available. These positions will provide services at two of LCHC locations.
- · Lowell Community Health Center’s Metta Health Center (LCHC-MHC) offers unique opportunity for cross-cultural practice providing psychiatric treatment to Lowell’s SE Asian population, primarily Cambodians, along with several emerging refugee communities. Majority of clients are refugee/immigrant survivors of torture/political trauma. LCHC-MHC provides integrated mental health and primary care services within collaborative team environment. Care team includes psychiatrist, clinicians, bicultural workers, and case manager integrated with full primary care team. LCHC-MHC is recognized nationally for program excellence and receives funding from the UN Voluntary Fund for Victims of Torture and the Office of Refugee Resettlement. Experience in cross cultural and adult mental health preferred.
- LCHC is also, seeking a qualified candidate in a very busy outpatient setting that works collaboratively with primary medical care providers. Supported by a behavioral health team of clinicians and a strong administrative support staff, this candidate will provide psychiatric evaluations and medication follow-up visits. Adult Psychiatrist – Lowell Community Health Center is seeking a Full or Part time psychiatrist to provide psychiatric assessments and medication follow up visits in its busy outpatient department. Experience with dually-diagnosed populations is required. This position may include some hours at our Metta Health Center location. Peer Support Staff-Lowell Community Health Center is seeking peer support staff to provide individual and group level support and education to HIV+ and affected individuals. Candidates must have first hand experience with HIV. Bilingual/Bicultural Spanish or Portuguese preferred.
Prevention & Screening – LCHC’s HIV Department has a full-time position and is seeking individual to join our Prevention and Screening Team. This individual will be responsible for providing HIV, STI, and Hepatitis C screening and testing, in addition to providing individual, and group education, and community outreach. Seeking individuals with two-three years Human Service experience. Bilingual/Bicultural preferred, specifically bilingual in Portuguese Speaking communities. Evenings and some weekends required.
RN/LPN– LCHC is seeking a 10 hour/week nurse for a new initiative within CARINO’s Prevention and Screening Program. Responsibilities include administration of Hepatitis vaccines, as well as treatment, coordination, follow up and reporting of positive STD screenings.
Lead Staff Accountant-Full-time position available: Great opportunity for someone looking for diverse accounting duties to include; bank reconciliations, fixed asset system, account reconciliations, monthly journal entries and cost grant invoicing. Assist with weekly and monthly payroll reporting and serve as backup to payroll staff.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting /Finance or Business Management or equivalent work experience is required. Must be a self-starter, proficient in Excel and Word and have exceptional organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Accounting experience and attention to detail a must.
Medical Assistant– 32 hour position available
Full time (2) Nurses needed for a fast paced, high volume ambulatory clinic. Must be enthusiastic and work well as a member of a multidisciplinary team, dedicated to providing high quality care to a diverse patient population with excellent communication skills. Experience in pediatrics a plus. Bicultural/bilingual encouraged to apply.
RN– Full-time position for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, patient-centered team player in a family practice outpatient ambulatory care department. We focus on integrating Eastern and Western medicine for the growing needs of our Southeast Asian and other immigrant populations. Culturally competent with Khmer tradition and practices with Bilingual English/Khmer preferred.
