Message from the Undersecretary:
I am pleased to announce that Rose Evans has been hired as the new Associate Director for the Division of Housing Stabilization at DHCD. She has extensive experience in management and supervision and a deep knowledge of the housing and homelessness field, ranging from emergency shelters to permanent supportive housing.
Rose holds a Masters of Education degree from Cambridge College in Springfield and is licensed by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as a Special Education Administrator, Principal and Superintendent. She maintains a passion and commitment to children, families, staff, and stakeholders and is guided by the Department’s mission to prevent homelessness, to provide emergency shelter as an important safety net, and to expand permanent housing options for low income households. Rose will start at DHCD on Monday, March 4th.
